Choose an image you own or are allowed to use. Record its source and intended role before uploading it to the media manager.

Step 2
Replace a template image and adjust its crop so the subject remains visible at desktop width. Avoid putting essential instructions inside an image.

Write descriptive alternative text for informative images. Keep decorative images from repeating nearby text in their description.

Preview the image on mobile and inspect its focal point. Compare the uploaded file size with the original; retain a reusable copy outside Wix.

Start with the likely cause
If the image looks blurry, check its original dimensions and the size of the displayed frame before uploading a larger file.
My screen is different from the guide
Check the product, editor, account role and selected project first. Open the credited official instructions for your version. Record the difference and pause any action whose effect you cannot verify.
The screen looks correct, but the result is missing
Inspect the saved record, published page or execution log that should prove the action. A preview, success message or draft is not always evidence that data was stored or a message was delivered. Retest with one unique demo value.
