Setly’s beta analyzes selected documents in the browser session, collects report-access emails, and does not share either with moving companies.
What is processed
Company, route, and estimate text are used to prepare the current report. PDF and image text extraction runs for the report workflow.
Email collection
When you unlock a report, Setly stores the email address you submit together with limited report context such as company name, USDOT number, route, status, and request time. The beta currently uses this information to measure report access and does not validate or send email.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, Setly uses Google Analytics to measure page visits and product actions such as mover-record checks and report unlocks. Setly does not send your submitted email address or uploaded-document contents to Google Analytics. You can decline analytics when prompted.
Retention
The current beta does not provide cloud document or report storage. Selected files and extracted results remain in the active browser session and disappear when that session is cleared or closed. Report-access records are stored separately from uploaded documents.
Deletion
The report’s Delete document control removes the uploaded-document preview from the current report session. Closing or refreshing the current beta clears unsaved report state.
Sharing and sales
Setly does not send documents to movers or sell uploaded estimates as mover leads. Future storage or sharing features will require a clear retention policy and explicit consent.
Movers cannot pay to change Setly’s findings.
Commercial relationships, if introduced, will be labeled and kept separate from report evidence.
